Assembly candidate Brian Robson at the Thames Barrier

Cllr Brian RobsonLondon Assembly

Councillor Brian Robson is the Liberal Democrats’ candidate for the London Assembly constituency of Greenwich & Lewisham.

Brian wants to see more police on local train and bus services and community policing to cut crime. He is working to see the Oyster Card rolled out to suburban rail services and real consultation with local people on the Greenwich Waterfront Transit. Brian also has concerns about the reliability of the Woolwich Ferry, which regularly brings Woolwich to a standstill. He is campaigning to cut council housing waiting lists and to create genuinely affordable local housing.

Cllr Brian WoodcraftLocal Council

Cllr Brian Woodcraft leads the Liberal Democrat group on Greenwich Council. Local Lib Dems want to ensure that decisions on local health care services are made by local residents and doctors and that services aren’t cut to bail out the government’s financial mismanagement of the NHS.

They are campaigning for a cut in the basic rate of income tax, paid for by taxes on pollution, calling for action to tackle the high rates of truancy from schools in Greenwich, and working for local improvements, such as pedestrian crossings on Eltham Road and for dropped kerbs on the Cator Estate to improve access for disabled residents.
