London Assembly
Monica Whyte is the Liberal Democrats’ candidate for the London Assembly seat of Enfield & Haringey. She is a practising barrister and a councillor for Hornsey Ward.

The Liberal Democrats’ London-wide “top-up” list for the 2008 London Assembly election consists of Mike Tuffrey, Dee Doocey, Caroline Pidgeon, Jeremy Ambache, Geoff Pope, Ben Abbotts, Stephen Knight, Shas Sheehan, Duncan Borrowman, Monica Whyte and Merlene Emerson.

Local Council
There are 26 Liberal Democrat councillors in Haringey, led by Cllr Neil Williams, the Leader of the Opposition on Haringey Council.
There are 31 Labour councillors on Haringey Council and no Conservatives.
